Key Responsibilities
– Work together with stakeholders to develop test objectives and comprehend project requirements.
– Create thorough test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on user stories and functional specifications.
– Carry out manual test cases to confirm the performance, usability, and functionality of software.
– Keep abreast of industry best practices, testing procedures, and emerging technologies.
– Comply with existing quality assurance processes and standards and contribute to their ongoing improvement.
– Look for proactive ways to enhance the organization’s testing procedures, equipment, and methods.
Requirements
– A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or in similar discipline.
– Demonstrated manual software testing experience, ideally gained in a software development setting.
– Thorough comprehension of the concepts, procedures, and methods of software testing.
– Expertise in writing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
– Certification in ISTQB or other pertinent fields (preferred but optional).
– Prior experience with automated testing methods and tools (a plus but not required).
