Business Development Executive (IT Sales)
Role overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive (IT Sales) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving sales growth in the IT services and digital solutions sector. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and positioning our company as a trusted technology partner.
Key Responsibilities
– Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, online platforms, and industry events.
– Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term clients.
– Promote and sell company services such as web development, mobile app development, digital marketing, and IT consulting.
– Understand client needs, prepare tailored proposals, and deliver compelling product/service presentations.
– Collaborate with internal teams (design, development, and project management) to ensure successful project delivery.
– Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
– Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate client and sales data.
– Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the IT domain.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements
– A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or in similar department. Having a master’s degree helps.
– Strong understanding of web development, mobile applications, and digital marketing services.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Proven ability to generate leads and close deals.
– Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and online lead generation platforms (LinkedIn, Upwork, Clutch, etc.).
– Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
– Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for sales and client relationship management.
